about me
"Hey there!"
Real talk I was going to write a really formal and official biography that made me sound really cool and professional. Instead I got really bad sleep last night, and I think I have a cold sore, and just wanted to introduce myself.

I'm Leah! I'm an actor, director, and a dialect specialist currently based in the PNW. I graduated Western Washington University in June 2023, where I had an absolute blast! I appeared in a bunch of mainstage plays, helped get multiple student works on its feet, starred in about three films per quarter (two of which I directed and wrote as well!), and even got a national award from the Kennedy Center itself! Yes John F Kennedy LITERALLY rose from the dead to tell this random girl she's good at acting.

Since graduating, I've yo-yo'd between a lot of on-camera work and a lot of onstage work, recently I got to re-star in the award-winning new work "Good Water", which got me a nomination for Best Performance at the Sound on Stage Awards in September of 2024. That same month, I co-led an original pilot, "The Comedown", and landed a lead in a feature in Portland.

Here's the skinny: I'm an actor who cares about telling stories in the most honorable and truthful way possible. I want to connect with people, give them a chance to exercise their empathy, so they can take that empathy with them into the real world, because humans and community and love matters.
